Multi effect evaporation device saves heating steam by repeatedly using the same heat from one effect to another. If the steam in the evaporation chamber is compressed to a higher pressure and temperature in the heating chamber according to the principle of heat pump, the condensation heat can also be recovered.
Usually, the amount of secondary steam entering the steam jet pump is equal to the amount of heating steam. If compressing 1 kg/h of steam requires 1 kg/h of power steam, 2 kg/h of mixed steam will be generated on the pressure side of the jet compressor, which can evaporate nearly 2 kg/h of steam.
The efficiency of a steam jet pump is related to the pressure of the heating steam and the temperature difference (△ t) between the secondary steam and the mixed steam (secondary steam and heating steam). The mixing ratio (the ratio of secondary steam to heating steam) increases as the steam pressure and temperature difference (△ t) decrease.
The energy-saving effect of conventional TVR steam is equivalent to adding a first effect evaporator.
Compared to multi effect evaporation equipment, investment will be relatively reduced.
